The asongtadimnam foundation has made a charitable donation to the people of Tempane community in the upper east region.
The kind gesture from the Foundation was well received by the people of the community amidst praises to the CEO for his good deeds to the people.
The motive of the foundation is to help the less privileged in the community that includes widows and orphans.By so doing,they donated fertilizers to the needy widows,orphans and also registered NHIS for them for free.

Even though, we had a tough time with our clients today but everything was successful .
We only left with Kuraugo and hopefully next week.

The foundation has a good track record of lending a helping hand to the less privileged.About a month or two ago, the said foundation donated items to the Tempane district health directorate to help fight the Covid 19 pandemic.

Asongtadimnam Foundation is a non political and non-tribal Non-Profit charitable organization, dedicated
to improving the quality of lives of under- privileged children and the aged as well as their families in
deprived and hard to reach communities. Established in Ghana by a native of Tempane, Asongtadimnam
Foundation aims to engage, support and empower socially and economically underprivileged persons
by helping build a safe environment, increase their access to basic healthcare, quality education and
create opportunities that allows them to build a more sustainable future for themselves.
PROFILE OF THE TEMPANE COMMUNITY
The Tempane District is one of the 260 Metropolitan, Municipal and District Assemblies (MMDAs) in
Ghana, and forms part of the 15 of Municipalities and Districts in the Upper East Region.
The Tempane District Assembly is carved out of the Garu-Tempane District Assembly as one of the 38
newly created and upgraded District Assemblies in 2018. Statistics from the Ghana National Household
Registry (GNHR) has rated the Garu and Tempane Districts the poorest among the 15 Districts and
Municipalities in the Upper East Region with Bolgatanga being the least extreme poor. The GNHR data
indicated that 184,125 households were enumerated in the Region and the Garu and Tempane Districts
recorded 42.04 poverty rate while Bolgatanga Municipality recorded 14.9 per cent poverty rate.
Farming is the predominant occupation of the people in the district with the total
farm population ranging between 80 and 90%. Farmers in the district engage in cultivation of cereals,
legumes vegetables as well as tree crops.
The district has a total population of 140,050 out of which 66,818 are males and are 73,232 females with
an average household size of 6.2 persons.
