Yayra-Si Youth Foundation has donated Personal protective equipments to Doryumu community in the Shai Osudoku district of Greater Accra region to help prevent the spread of the deadly Corona virus.
According to the Executive Director of the foundation Madam Esther Naa Ankrah said, although the community has not recorded any covid 19 case but it is prudent to provide them with PPEs to protect themselves from the virus.
She noted that, the Yayra-Si Youth Foundation is established to create, stimulate, amplify and empowered voices of young women to demand respect, equity and inclusion in decision making in various societies also, to educate young women from teenage pregnancies.
Esther Naa Ankrah mentioned this To Media when Yayra-Si Youth Foundation donated Veronica buckets, liquid soap, gallons of hand sanitizer, tissues, hand gloves and food items to 90 households in Doryumu yesterday.
Moreover, the project manager for Yayra-Si Youth Foundation Mr James Asumah has cautioned Ghanaians to take the observation of the government protocols on covid 19 very serious because Corona virus is real.
Let’s wash our hands with running water and soap, observe social distancing protocols, wear nose masks always to save us from contracting covid 19, he said.
