Rocky Dawuni

Ghanaian Reggae musician Rocky Dawuni has made an appeal to the government of Ghana that is about time for government and Ghanaians to pay much attention to our Creative Art industry.

This came to light when the Reggae legend Rocky Dawuni was interviewed on the rising sun Reggae Bush a program held on Trinity FM by the Musikal Vyrus

He said, the reason for him raising this concern is that,it is those in the creative arts industry that raise the name of Ghana outside the country especially the musicians and the actors and actresses as well

This makes foreigners who wants to travel to Africa put Ghana on their list and visit our country, this has contributed a lot to our economy and it is under the influence of those in the art industry

So is about time for the government to invest a lot in the creative arts industry by getting them venues, granting them opportunities and can even creat so policy for them in a way of helping them to achieve higher and this will bring a lot of investors into our country

Moreover,he added that if radio and television station in Ghana promote the music of Ghanaian artist to get the highest peak in the country it is going to benefit them and the country as well

In addition to George Floyd issue, Rocky said this is the time for Africans living on the white man’s land to trace back their root and also protect what we have as an Africans or else we are going to be slaves in our own motherland. Kyekyeku
