NATIONAL Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament (MP) for Agona East Constituency in the Central Region Hon. Queenstar Maame Pokuah Sawyerr has called on eligible voters in the area to vote massively for her to retain the parliamentary seat in 2020 general elections.
The call on the voters to give her another term, according to the NDC female legislator has become necessary with the reason for her to continue to make Agona East better place to leave.
“Trusting God as usual, 2020 general elections is good and looks very bright for NDC’s John Dramani Mahama and myself. Together we will make Agona East Constituency a better place I pray,” the MP Sawyerr stated.
Mrs Sawyerr made the call when she donated relief items to Seth Okai ADC Primary School, Seth Okay Chief’s Palace and individuals whose buildings were destroyed by rainstorm.
Mrs Sawyerr presented the items comprising 200 pieces of roofing sheets, 30 bags of cement, 5 bags of rice, 3 bags of maize, 3boxes of oil, 2 boxes of sardine and an undisclosed amount of money.
The move is aimed at restoring victims to their original position to enable them go about their duties effectively.
