Black Stars and Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey and his teammates were tested for Coronavirus ahead of the resumption of the Spanish league.
The 26-year-old midfielder was at the team’s training facility to take the test as Spanish football pushes towards a return to action.
Spanish football is anticipating at least 30 cases of Coronavirus among its players, but will not allow professionals testing positive to delay the restart of the season in the middle of next month.
Only players who will test positive would be quarantined and the rest will restart the season.
Thomas Partey has been in a superb form for Atletico at the start of season before the pandemic brought the football season to a halt.
The midfielder is on the radar of major teams in Europe this season with Arsenal showing immense interest in signing the player.
Manchester United ,Liverpool,Juventus are also among the teams who have shown interest in the midfielder.
